Fancy working somewhere a little bit... well, different? Our Kubix office is pretty special. Based so close to Birmingham’s canals we could almost dip our toes in (although we wouldn’t advise it), Digbeth has been our home for 8 years and counting and we’re very proud of The Bond that we call home.
But our Kubix roots have expanded much further since then. Now with a team in Dublin, Ireland, we’re proud that what started in the Irish Quarter of Birmingham has now expanded to the Emerald Isle.

Kubix originally started in the Irish Quarter of Birmingham, and we’re now thrilled to announce that we’ve expanded to the gorgeous Emerald Isle.
Kubix Ireland is headed up by our Dublin-based Commercial Director Andy Doyle, and with many Irish websites under our belt and even more to come, we’re very proud of the Irish roots we’re laying down.

About Lewis
As one of our newest team members, Lewis actually found Kubix years ago via our social media - and thought we seemed like the kind of place he'd like to work one day! Now officially part of our team as a skilled Project Manager, Lewis heads up work for our Immersion clients - those who come on board for the full Discovery process until they go live. With his Scottish twang and happy-go-lucky attitude, Lewis is a breath of fresh air for our clients keen for growth.
About Rhys
Account management requires the ability to juggle a lot of balls, but Rhys manages even our biggest client accounts with ease. With years of account management experience under his belt as well as in-depth Klaviyo knowledge for our clients' email marketing, he spends his days creating unique campaign ideas and implementing content plans for his many brands.
About Mia
The powerhouse behind our Kubix projects, Mia offers her extensive Shopify experience to each project that comes through our doors. Assisting with budgets, timelines, backend setups and data migrations, Mia is brought in at the right time of each project to deliver on the more technical commercials. Mia knows the Shopify ecosystem inside out and is always on top of new updates to implement for our clients.
About Tom
When Manchester-based developer Tom isn’t at his desk, he’s usually hopping in his Mini and off on a road trip. Already getting stuck into a range of projects after a short time at Kubix, Tom’s endless enthusiasm for both projects and plants keeps us all entertained. He never put a laptop down as a kid, and it’s paid off now.
About Ali
When it comes to original, striking web design, there really isn't much that our designer Ali can't do. Tasked with building our entire Kubix site from the ground up, Ali took on the challenge with an unflustered, positive approach. Now responsible for designing many other projects that come through our doors, Ali is known for his unique flair and skills across Shopify, Webflow and more.
About Stefi
Stefi joined our team as as intern back in 2020 and after showing a passion for paid media, we quickly hired her to join the team full-time. Now responsible for uploading, analysing and enhancing our clients' Meta ads, Stefi is a whizz at Ads Manager and is always on the ball with new Meta updates.
About Alfie
A coder by name and by nature, our developer Alfie is always keen to put whatever new Shopify liquid insights he's been learning about into practice. Accompanied with his working-from-home setup by dog Archie, Alfie delivers every Kubix project he works on with efficiency and a great sense of humour.
About Jess
Our upbeat and savvy Client Services Director Jess is always striving to bring the best possible service to our range of brands. As the leader of our Immersion programme and director of our development team, Jess takes her extensive project management experience to get under the hood of every business we work with.
About Kimberley
When Kimberley first came to Kubix and said her favourite brand was Lucy & Yak and she had a tiny cat called Marcella, we knew she’d fit right in. Armed with a passion for Pinterest and 5 years of agency experience doing content creation, planning and paid social advertising, Kimberley has hit the ground running with her social brand campaigns and big picture thinking. Her structured way of working has been a huge asset to the paid media team, and she loves making her mark on Meta and beyond.
About Ben
The head and the heart of our paid media department, Ben has grown our PPC team to great heights over the years, resulting in us achieving our Google Premier Partner status, Meta Partner and more. Controlling and monitoring the ad budgets and strategy across Google, Meta, TikTok and more (usually with a pot of Pringles at his side), Ben knows exactly what to do to create paid success for our brands.
About Liam
Redbull drinker and coding extraordinaire, our Lead Developer Liam is rather famous in Shopify development circles. Always on the pulse in the Shopify community connecting with developers around the world, he has nearly a decade of experience building sites in Liquid and has worked on some of Kubix's biggest projects to date.

About Nick
What drives our Strategy Director Nick forward? Aside from his beloved Honda NT700V Deauville, Nick’s need for speed pushes him in the world of marketing too. A self-taught web developer and tech inventor turned strategic marketer, Nick’s arrival to the team marked a new approach to our client comms. With plenty of big picture thinking and years of agency experience under his biker jacket, Nick helps to build strategic growth for our clients in both projects AND marketing. Talk about firing on all cylinders.
About Josh
When it comes to finding a clever system or process, Josh is your guy. Responsible for keeping our agency at the cutting edge of new technologies, Josh always finds a way to make our task management, reporting and even HR systems more streamlined and user-friendly for staff and clients alike. He's also fully trained as a barista, which comes in very handy for our lunchtime iced coffees.
About Vicky
If you're after an impactful headline or a newsletter that hits the headlines, Vicky is our go-to copywriter and Comms aficionado. With a knack for copywriting and a dab hand at TikTok videos for our clients, Vicky heads up our weekly LinkedIn newsletters and monthly client updates. She is also a proud new mother to her daughter Annabelle.
About Laura
Armed with her trusty iPad and a Figma board, there isn’t much our Graphic Designer Laura can’t do. When she’s not designing dynamic email flows and various ads for our clients, she’s working on campaigns for upcoming marketing events or sharing daily pics of her cat Rocco to the creative team.
About Ryan
As the first port of call for all new business and often found representing Kubix at Shopify events, Ryan is responsible for sharing the Kubix vision with all our potential clients. With years of sales experience under his belt, he knows how to interpret a business' needs and find the perfect solution for them.
About Ryan
A true wordsmith and a lover of all things Apple, Ryan is one of our most creative talents when it comes to crafting punchy, impactful copy. Responsible for crafting and editing our very own internal magazine - The Kubix Voice - alongside his work for clients, there isn't an area of the business Ryan doesn't assist with his copywriting skills.
About Phil
Our resident Kiwi and talented Development Team Manager, Phil is methodical in his approach to Liquid code and is never afraid to take on new challenges. Based in Northern Ireland and responsible for bringing structure to the entire dev team, Phil is always getting out and about with his two daughters and makes a happy addition to the remote working team.
About Peter
As Kubix's Managing Director, Peter ensures the agency is always on a steady path to success. Involved with every part of the business, from our clients and their experience with us, to overseeing the Account Managers and how they interact with brands, Peter's years of agency experience and calm manner make him a constant source of truth for getting the most from our team.
About Monika
One of our most seasoned Account Managers, Monika works day in, day out with some of Kubix's biggest brands. With the likes of TRIP drinks and Wilson's Pet Food on her impressive roster of clients, Monika can be found strategising for new launches and communicating between our brands and creative team to deliver the best possible results.
About Joe
Joe is our Operations Director here at Kubix, and when it comes to Shopify there isn't much that passes him by. Having worked with Shopify since leaving school in 2016 and run over 100 projects of varying size and complexity, Joe spends time consulting with our clients on their technology decisions and navigating their e-commerce roadmap.
About Looay
Founder of Kubix and the captain of our ship, Looay worked for over a decade in other agencies before realising that with a bit of passion, combined with a focus on cutting-edge systems and processes, he could create an entirely new place to work. Fast forward 8 years and Kubix is now one of the biggest Shopify Plus Partners in the UK. Looay continues to inspire us with his visions and ideas for the future of our clients, and is never short of a motivational speech or time for the team.
About Elodie
Our first ever Kubix designer and one of the longest-standing members of the Kubix team, Elodie has been surprising and delighting our clients with her UX-focused designs for over 7 years now. When she's not creating wireframes and beautiful designs from new Shopify themes and exploring exciting new design trends, Elodie can be found turning her hand to copywriting, producing content for our Kubix blog on the psychology behind design and why we shop the way we do.
About Bethany
Heading up all of our Kubix content and crafting our tone of voice, Bethany is one of the longest-standing Kubix members. When she's not mapping out our latest Kubix blogs, newsletters and social media for the wider Comms team, you can find her connecting with our clients at trade shows or events. With plenty of branding experience under her belt, Bethany is often the first port of call on the design stage of a project, discussing how to tell a brand story and bring out the best in our design work.

The luck of the Irish? With Commercial Director Andy Doyle’s talents on our team, we certainly think so. Powering our Dublin branch, Andy has years of running agencies and is the perfect man to take Kubix Ireland to new heights. We think he’s grand.
